& Griffith Take Money From Troops To Bailout Banks
Birmingham –Democrat
Congressmen Bobby Bright and Parker Griffith voted yesterday to strip $5
billion from our military, and give it to bank bailouts. By way of their
“yes” vote on the War Supplemental Funding Bill, Griffith and Bright voted
to give that money to the International Monetary Fund for more taxpayer
funded bank bailouts.
With all House
Republicans standing up for our troops, Nancy Pelosi went to work to make
sure she had the votes to pass this legislation. Pelosi cashed in
her campaign contribution chips, causing Democrats like Bobby Bright and
Parker Griffith to stand with her - and not with our troops.
“Given the large
military presence in both Congressional Districts, it is unconscionable
that Bright and Griffith would vote to bailout more banks in lieu of providing
an additional $5 billion to our military,” stated Rep. Mike Hubbard (R-Auburn),
Chairman of the Alabama Republican Party. “Nancy Pelosi funneled millions
of dollars into the campaigns of Bright and Griffith for one reason – to
be there when she needed their votes.”
“Alabama needs leaders who
will stand up to political pressure, and do what's right for our State,
not simply what is popular with their campaign donors in Washington,” Hubbard
added. “Bright and Griffith have just demonstrated that they are incapable
of doing such.

Also notice this does not really take effect until after the 2010 elections
and not in time for it to much effect Obama's candidacy for reelection.
This Bill is based on the theory of Global Warming, but it is just
a theory and rejected by many specialist in the field. Some
scientist support the theory but note that their instutions/schools receive
Federal Grants so they naturally side with the EPA.. But actual temperatures
have been lowering for the last 9 years; the climate naturally fluctuates
mostly because the SUN's energy varies. Also, what good will this
legislation do if the rest of the world(read China) does not follow the
same rules? Let's face it, this is for TAXING and CONTROL purposes,
little else.
It is up to our Senators now,
only they can save us from this terrible legislation -LET THEM KNOW YOU
ARE AGAINST IT.
Socialization
of Health Care Although this passed it is important to remember:
According to the Obama Administration
there is an Emergency in Health Care which must be solved by government
regulation(read take over) by the end of Aug. 2009(of course that has now
been slipped). Strange, one radio commentator said I do not see people
dead in the streets! No one is refused care at emergency rooms.
Even the Congressional Budget Office
estimates that of the approximately 46 Million that do not have health
insurance: 20 Mil could afford it but chose to self insure, 14 Mil are
illegal aliens, and most of the rest qualify for Medicaid but have not
registered. So where is the emergency?
It is obvious that this is an attempt
to take over 1/6th of our National GDP, grow government exponentially,
and make more people dependent on government which will solidify Democrat
power and keep them in the majority forever. It has passed the House
and Senate but a compromise has not been made yet
THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH HEALTH
CARE AND THERE IS NO EMERGENCY.
Other plans which do not involve
a government SOCIALIZATION of health care would take care of the problems
